Proposed Hours:   8:00 to 9:30 for children ages 8-12

9:45 to 11:15 for teenagers ages 13-17

Days: Mondays through Fridays

Course fee: $ 60.00 per week

Intended Audience / Level:  Boys and Girls ages 8-17

Brief Description of Class: Through a wide variety of drills and workouts, we intend to develop goalkeeping skills of youngsters in a fun but still professional way .

Brief Outline (Topics / Strategies):

This Goalkeeper Training Course is a 4-week program designed to offer young goalkeepers of all levels the opportunity to further develop their goalkeeping skills under the guidance of a current professional goalkeeper.  Dives, crosses, catching low, medium high and high balls, physical endurance, footwork, playing the angles, punching the ball, nutrition, communicating with the rest of the team, positioning, goalkeeping psychology, conditioning and coordination, flexibility, speed and abdominal strength

Outcomes / Measures of Success. This is an intensive course in which the measurement of success will be seen in the near future when athletes participate in competitions. Weekly evaluations will be shared with parents and athletes.

Volleyball

Course Description

Dates: June 12- July 7

Course fee: $ 60.00 per week / $220.00 three to four weeks

Schedule: Monday through Fridays from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

Minimum number to open: 8 students

Ages: 12 years and up

Instructor: Mr. Oscar Arias

Course Profile:

In this four-week intensive course students will work mostly on the fundamentals of the game: serving, passing ( forearm & underhand, overhand, overhead), attack (basic of spiking) , blocking and defensive skills.

Basketball

Course Description

Dates: June 12- July 7

Course fee: $ 60.00 per week / $220 four weeks

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 11:30 am.

Minimum number to open: 8 students

Ages: 12 years and up

Instructor: Mr. Luis Callejas

Course Profile:

In this four-week intensive course students will improve their skill levels, and positions that will help them improve shooting, ball handling, decision making, aggressiveness, footwork and leadership.

Gymnastics

Course Description

Age: Students in ages 5 to 12

Minimum number to open: 10 students

Instructor: Mr. Juan Borgen.

Course Profile: This course will provide students with a variety of exercises that directly transfer into overall fitness. In this four-week course students will improve their spatial awareness and self-confidence while creating movements and solving movement challenges (locomotor movements, balances, rolling, rotation, flight, and vaulting).

Additionally students will refine the routines of I & II USAG levels.

Swimming

Course Information

Ages: 5-17 years

Dates: June 12 – July 7, 2017

Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Fee: $35 per week / $120 for 4 weeks

Basic swimming abilities are required.

Course Description

For this course students need to have basic knowledge of swimming (at least know how to float and swim a minimum of 10 meters crawl style). In this four-week intensive course students will learn and/or master three styles: crawl, backstroke and breast stroke. Students will improve their coordination and cardiovascular endurance. By attending this course, students will develop skills such as sportsmanship, time-management, self-discipline, goal-setting, and an increased sense of self-worth.

ANS Sports Camp 2017

Course Information

Dates: June 12 – July 7, 2017

Course fee: $60 per week / $220 for four weeks

Age: Students in ages 5 to 12

Course Description

This course will provide students with a variety of exercises that directly translate into overall fitness. In this four–week course, students will practice the basic techniques for sports such as soccer (strengthen legs) and baseball (strengthen arms). In addition, the focus of boot camp is to increase cardiovascular efficiency and strength while promoting camaraderie and team effort. Boot camp includes dynamic stretching and running, lifting weight/objects, pulling rubber, push-ups, sit ups as well as plyometric.

As a bonus, our campers will also be able to participate in two days of swimming.
