Course Description

Proposed Dates: June 18th – July 5th Monday – Thursday

Minimum Number of Students: 10

Cost Per Student: U$100 per week or U$ 300 for the whole course

Proposed Hours: 8 – 12 pm.

Grade Level: 2nd – 6th Ages: 7 to 12 years’ old

Description of Class:

SpaceLand at ANS is a summer course where kids will learn every single aspect of Science and Space, Children will learn about the solar system, its planets and rocks and will learn to identify every aspect of it through real size models and displays. They will do observation to the Sun here on campus using telescope and other artifacts. They will also learn about science through easy to do experiments at the class, measurement, scientific method and so on and the most exciting part Is that they will have the opportunity to learn with Amateur Astronomer, Julio Vannini president of ANASA, LIADA, Astronomers Without Borders and Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project and more.

Google CS – First & Robotics

Course Description

Course fee: $300 for four weeks

Ages: 7 to 11 years old

Time: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Course Profile:

This is an intensive Computer Science and Robotic course for kids, using the amazing Google platform, and six apps to interact with Dash and Dot robots. Through this course, students will be exploring basic Computer Science concepts, also experiment effective ways to be engaged using robots to make the magic mix between hardware and software.

Drama

Course Profile:

Dramatic Arts education is an important means of stimulating CREATIVITY in problem solving. At the center of all drama is COMMUNICATION. Drama allows students to communicate with and understand others in new ways. Students who have participated in Dramatic activities are less likely to have difficulty speaking in Public. Students will learn to work together in a world that is increasingly TEAM ORIENTED. It also helps students develop TOLERANCE and EMPATHY. An actor must be able to really understand how the world looks through another person’s eyes.

Course Profile:

Art Class is really important for children’s lives, It is in everything we do, everything we see. Art increases creativity and let children explore their imagination. Kids need to explore and to experiment their skills combined with enthusiasm, This inspires young artists to want to keep learning about art. I really know kids are going to have fun doing their projects to develop their fine motor skills and having fun. They will also enjoy them and love them than I love teaching to them.
